  2. Drink (distilled) water so you aren't dehydrated. Just remember you won't be able to use the restroom for an hour
  3. Ladies, plan to wear either a two-piece swim suit, or panties & bra.  Men, wear either colored underwear or swim trunks.

Research has shown that what we commonly refer to as cellulite is the result of six (unequally) contributing factors:

Below are descriptions of few distinct patterns of cellulite:

1. Good skin tone but with mild puffiness, and little fat accumulation.  Usually found in slim or relatively slim, young women, below 25. This usually leads to the following pattern:
2. Loose skin, yet legs are slim, puffiness, and little fat accumulation.  Usually is found on younger, slimmer women who never feel the need to exercise due to their good genes but who yo-yo diet or chronically starve-diet and often have taken contraceptive pills for years.
3. The “contraceptive pill look” : uniform fat distribution around the thighs, loose and puffy skin, poor circulation.
4. An equal mix of skin laxity, fluid retention and fat accumulation. Also referred to as “soft cellulite”, this is the most common type of cellulite.  It can be mild to moderate and it is also usually accompanied by deep fat accumulation in specific areas:  saddle bags, buttock fat etc..
5. Serious, chronic fluid retention, usually accompanied by inflammation and easy bruising.  May be painful to the touch.  Usually found in unfit women who never exercised in their life...
6. Firm skin with mild cellulite and a bit of excess deep fat.  Skin quality in this case is a good mix of firmness and suppleness but some fat accumulation has started to occur on the lower layer of the skin and also in deeper layers of the body.  If left unchecked, this may lead to the following pattern:
7. Very firm skin with fat globules that stick out out to form severe bumps.  This is often referred to as “hard cellulite”.  Here the combination of good firm skin with excessive fat accumulation ends up in a very unsightly form of cellulite.
8. Serious skin looseness and excess skin.  Both genetic factors and lifestyle pay a role here: dieting, inactivity stress, etc.
9. Severe cellulite with very visible bumps, fluid retention, pain, broken veins. Usually found in older women, typically above the age of 60, but sometimes in the 50s too.
